How long to conceive?

Just wanted to know how long it took everyone to fall pregnant.

I'll start.
With my first it took us 7 months, and with our second it took us 3 months, we are now trying for our third, I have been off the pill since Jan but this is only our 4th month trying.

It took me 0 months LOL. I was on the pill and had an oops LOL. I wasn't even trying.

I am ashamed to admit becuase of all the people out there who have so much trouble but;

#1 within the first month of being off the pill
#2 without even thinking about
#3 pure accident

sopoli, I know how you feel. I know people who've tried unsuccessfuly for months (some of them up to 2 years) to fall pregnant and here it happens to me and I'm on the pill.

I came off the pill in December and we didn't start trying until March, I wanted to give my body a few months to re adjust, I fell pregnant in the first month of trying but sadly I had a m/c in May. We are now ttc again and I'm hoping I fall again straight away.

It took us two years to fall pregnant. I was organising our wedding at te time and fell pregnant with our son. With the wedding on my mind I think it helped me fall pregnant. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant at our wedding!!!

It took us 2 years to conceive... We tried for a year and then were referred to a fertility specialist. We had 2 attempts at IUI, and then fell pregnant on our 2nd IVF cycle (very lucky!!!). We have frozen embryos stored, and are looking to try for #2 in December...

My first pregnancy at 17 was while I wason the pill but ended in miscarriage. When we ttc again it took us 7 years!

I went off the pill after being on it for about 10 years and was not "trying" but just thought if it happens it happens. 3 months later i fell pregnant and now have a beautiful 7.5 week old baby girl :D . We honetly didn't expect it to happen so quick because i've had ovarian cysts and Endometriosis.

It took us 6mths to conceive our son. We weren't really trying, but I wasn't on the pill either.
I went off the pill on Dec 29 and was preg by the end of feb, so less than 2mths to conceive #2 Due in Nov '05 :)
I feel very lucky to have fallen pregnant so easily both times. My mum had major problems and took 3yrs before she had me...she did go on to have 4 more kids after me without any problems, the last 2 were 'accidents'.

I came off the pill in the start of December and fell pregnant in April last year. (So it took about 5 months). :) We thought it would take longer because I'd been on the pill for many years.

I came off the pill in April 04 after over 12 years on it, we thought we'll give my body a break and if it happens sooner so be it. My doctor had said, if you dont want to fall pregnant straight away stay on the pill as if you are going to have no problems conceiving it usually happens in the first month. She was spot on and I fell straight away with our gorgeous little bub :)

First go to Bub Hub Community Forums (link at top of this page), to the page that lists all the topics. Its like the home page of the forum if you know what I mean. Then pick the topic that best fits what your question relates to. Select that and at the top there is a link saying New Thread. Click and off you go. Hope that makes sense- Im not very up to date on computer terms :p

With my first i wasnt trying, i fell pregant on the pill :eek: Im pregnant with bub number 2 (planned) and fell within two months of trying. Nature has a werid way of working thing out!
