Hello

I am wanting to make a slow cooker lasagne and know it can be done, just need a good recipe. I have done one before but wanted to try one with ricotta (meant to buy cottage cheese but got ricotta instead so hope it will work).

Can one of you lovely ladies please help with a tried and tested recipe?

ricotta and spinnach?

Ingredients
300g ricotta
1pkt frozen spinnach (or fresh) thawed
2 tins crushed tomatoes
1/2 onion chopped finely
pinch of sugar
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons tomato paste
grated cheese
lasagne sheets

Mix in a bowl the ricotta and spinnach with a little salt and pepper to season.
In another bowl mix tomatoes, onion, tomato paste, sugar, salt and pepper
Layer in slow cooker sauce, lasagne sheets, ricotta mix, and repeat ending with the sauce and top with cheese. Cook on low or auto for 6-7 hrs

Also If you want to use a bechemal sauce u can add that in aswell

Sounds awesome but I don't have any spinach and don't have any shops close by :crying:.

Thanks Jess82, I have googled it and have a recipe with cottage cheese that you can apparently substitute so am going to wing it and hope for the best!
