View Full Version : OPK test-please help!!!!!
I did an ovulation test on 17th, it came out positive. The test line was darker than control line (it took a few minutes for it to get darker). Today, on 21st, I did another test. And the test line came out really dark almost immediately. it was so dark, it was almost purplish.
My question is, how can I be ovulating for so long? Is it possible to ovulate for 3-4 days? I use "Confirm" OPK. On the packet, it says to wait 5 minutes for the accurate reading.
This is my first time using OPK. Anyone had this before? what does it mean?

Hi!
I cant really tell you why it is happening but I had that all week last week. I also use the confirm OPK and i had a week of very dark positive... strange.
Sorry I cant help, just wanted to let you know it happened to me too
:hugs:
Some OPK's can also act like a HPT and pick up a pregnancy - is there any chance you could already be pregnant? Do you have a HPT that you could take this morning?
The only other thing is that the hormone levels were still rising and that your true surge is happening now - thus you're ovulating now.
Do you have any other symptoms of ovulation??
