Olivia Newton-Johns Partner....??

I was wondering if any of you ladies and gentlemen have been reading about olivia newton john's partner? He "disappeared" a while back while on a fishing/boat trip. At first they thought he might have died but never found a body.

There have been possible "sightings" of him in other countries but nothing is proven. Dead or alive he is leaving behind a massive debt of child support payments and a possible jail sentence...

I think he is alive somewhere....

at first i didnt think olivia knew... but now im not so sure... we'll probabaly never know.

Its so weird how people just disappear... I didnt think u could leave the country without ur passport?

The coast guard (i think thats their name?) isnt looking into any of the sightings of him... apparently theres not enough evidence to go check things out... i would have thought they'd be jumping on their planes asap in search of him:confused:

He disappeared off a fishing charter boat, apparently while it was refueling. He wouldn't have needed a passport.

Like say he got back onto land safely and then fled to another country.... wouldnt he need a passport?

I actually think Olivia knew about it...maybe not all, like where he would end up, ..but surely he dropped some of his 'unofficial' intentions to her and she kept her mouth shut and played innocent.

Not our Olivia, she wouldn't do that, would she?? She looked so heart broken when it happened. I saw an interview the other day where someone asked her about it and she still got a really sad look on her face...

From what i heard he was trying to escape years in back pay of child support wasn’t he?

I guess my theory is (my be completely of track, hopefully I am) but I was thinking that Olivia obviously knew about all the debt he was in..but wasn’t prepared to pay it for him...hence they were maybe on the brink of a break-up...so for her, and her family he didnt want to put Olivia through anymore of it and decided it was best to leave.... for her sake (as he probably put it)

The best way for him to leave and get out of debt that he couldn’t afford would be to 'disappear'....I think Oliva may have known something like that was going to happen (surely if he loved her he would pre-warn her and they would have discussed what was best for both of them) but I imagine out of love, would have kept her mouth shut???.

Lol i dunno, just a feeling I have about it...no doubt shes deeply hurting over it.

Nah i agree with you diamonds... perhaps she doesnt know where he is exactly or any formal details, but i think she knows for a fact he isnt dead...

He owes a lot of money in child support and is wanted left, right and centre from what i have been reading... drowning from a boat trip just sounds too i dunno... easy? (Hmm easy isnt the right word... i dunno wat to use lol i think its time for my nana nap too diamonds!:o )

Why wouldn't she just pay the debt, the amount he owes in child support cannot be more than his net worth and hers???

Maybe they're aiming to make a B grade telemovie out of it to rival Fairley Arrow's story so they can round up some dosh for the debt!

I have always loved ONJ, but I'm not seeing a particularly distraught lover (especially after all the years they are meant to have been together.)
If my DH disappeared, you can bet your bottom $, that I'd be out there on boats trying to find him myself.

On the other hand if it happened to coincide with my new album release, and I probably wasn't too concerned about his disappearance, I might save myself some cold nights on the choppy seas! :barf:
