Hi,

Please forgive my ignorance... I don't have any babies yet (fingers crossed it will happen soon).

How do you wash nappies that have PUL in them? Doesn't hot water destroy the laminate after a short while?

Do nappies without PUL work? how many layers of towelling do you need?

I haven't heard of PUL deteriorating in a hot wash. With my nappies, I put them through a hot rinse cycle and then a normal wash cycle.

Nappies without PUL still need a cover. You can get PUL covers which can just be wiped and rinsed clean, or pure wool covers which need to be waterproofed (lanolised) every time you wash them which is about every 6 weeks.

I thought the purpose of an AIO containing PUL was to use them without a cover??
now im confused!

Yes that's right, nappies WITH PUL don't need a cover but you asked if nappies WITHOUT PUL worked...........

Nappies WITHOUT PUL do work but they need a cover, unless they're made with high grade Malden Mills Fleece.
