Toileting Trouble

Hi,
My 3 year old has been toilet trained for a good 4 months and had everything down pat. Just in the last fortnight he has been holding on and rufusing to go to the toilet when asked. He holds on untill he can't hold any longer and then wets his pants. He will then come and tell me that he has done it. We have not had any dramas with the toilet, ie: Falling in or anything of the sort so I am really at a dead end. Any ideas to fix this problem would be a big help.

Maybe you could try giving him lots and lots of praise for using the toilet, saying what a big boy he is and that your so proud etc. Every now and then maybe give him a reward. Stickers or a trip to the park. If my DD starts to slip i start back with the praising and it usually works for us. I try not to get angry at accidents as i think that part of the wetting is that she gets my attention, good or bad. Goodluck
