Hey,

I am living on Kangaroo Island and i am trying to find some Maternity Clothes for people from size 16+ I hae even tried many op shops in Adelaide and there is nothing for larger women at reasonable prices.

I do alot of shopping online, with being fairly isolated and next to no shops on the island.

Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated.

Cheers
MGreen

When I was pregnant I was a size 18-20, so it was really hard to find clothes. All I did was buy size 20-22 at bigw and kmart and other cheaper shops.
I had elastic waist bands so they would stretch and the tops were bagging and just hung down over the top of my belly.

I realise this doesn't help much with you not having any shops over there but I got stuff size 18 from Kmart - they have a maternity range called Bub2b and it goes up to larger sizes.

I assume you've tried ebay also?

Sorry I can't be of much more help.....

Hey there!

I have lived on KI too, so I can totally relate to the isolation when it comes to things that people in the city do without a second thought. I am also of the plus sized category, so can relate in that sense too :)

My recommendation would be to contact Abel Zera Maternity wear - which is on North East Road in Campbelltown. They don't have an operational website, but if you give them a call they may be able to send you a catalogue (08) 8365 141. They advertise as having maternity clothes for up to size 26. I am not sure on their prices though - sorry.

Hope you have good luck with it all

Karen

Pumpkin Patch online have awesome sale prices on maternity wear, and I believe that it goes up to 18 (not sure on that - they definitely have 16s though).
