New Job and a History of Ectopic Pregnancies....

I got a job! Yay! I'm so excited! I begin next Tuesday doing reception at a radiology clinic just round the corner from home - Yippee :smiliedance: Hubby gets home in 64 days - so thats only just on 2 months - life is going really well right now... I just have one slight concern about beginning a new job and TTCing again...

The last two times I went into hospital with ectopic pregnancies I had 2 weeks off work following the operation. I was also on probation both times, and lost my job both times. Not something I am proud of (I do have a tendency to choose unforgiving employers.)

I am scared about TTC again when hubby gets home, as far as winding up in hospital again and losing my job again... A good portion of my probation will be complete by the time he gets back, but I'm thinking that maybe I should wait until my probation is finalised and I DEFINITELY have the job before we begin actively TTCing again...

What would you do?

I know waiting is hard but I think I would wait as in the longer term I think already having a job while preggas would be easier than trying to find one.

I would probably wait if it were me.
Wait until at least 2 weeks before your probation is up and then BD like crazy.

I'd like to say that i would do the sensible thing and wait but i know i wouldn't. I'd start TTCing straight away, i wouldn't want to miss that chance!

I think I will do what you suggested... I mean - its still 2 months before hubby gets home, right? That means there is only 1 month where I would be on probation and we are actively TTC...

I think I'm with you Puk - I dont think I could wait anyway! lol
