:wave: Hi I moved to Brisbane (northern suburbs) from Scotland in Nov 2005 (32 preggers) with my DH, since then had Amy 5 mths ago. This website is great and hope I can chat with other mums and perhaps maybe meet other mums in the future.

hey thanks for all your hellos - it makes it worth it when you get replies back. The weather in brissy does take a bit of getting used to when I am used to the cold scottish weather. I was 32 weeks pregnant when we came to Brisbane in Nov and that was a nightmare, what with the humidity.... so think I can handle any heat now! Mind you can't believe I have a light jumper on today and it's 22oc? Crazy really. Back home when it was that heat, would get the shorts on and sunbath!! :yes:

Not very good with computers, but thought I would give it a try! Welcome to Australia. Very brave of you to move to a new country and also start a new life as a mum. I have two daughters Katia 4 and Isabelle 2years, and hubby as well - they keep me very busy and I seem to spend most of my day in either the kitchen or the laundry (maybe I am doing something wrong?). I live in Sydney and my real name is Linda (not Supermummy) it is just a nick name my daughter calls me. As we all know Supermummy doesn't really exist, but we do try!
Hope the weather is nice in Brisbane, a bit nippy down here at the moment. Hope to get a reply (from someone) ANYONE??? see you!
