Severe Low Abdomin Muscle Pain?

Hi everyone,

I'm 35 weeks pregnant with my second baby, I had a emergency c/sect 14 months ago.

Ive had slight muscle pain in my lower abdomin, around the area of the c/sect scar, but over the last few days its beginning to get alot worse (I only experience the pain when sitting up, walking etc, I recognise it as the muscle that hurt after the op)

Just wondering if any one else has this pain, if i remember rightly i even had this pain (but not as bad) in my first pregnancy. Could this be related to the c/sect? Or just a common side effect of pregnancy?

I will be seeing my doctor shortly, but I like to get a few other 'been-there' stories!

Note: I have been doing alot of sitting in the car and walking over the last few days, which may have caused the pain to flare up, i have been putting a heat pack on it which seems to help.

I don't know if I get the same pain or not, but mine is similar, and I am 27 weeks.

I get similar to a period pain, but not the same. It is sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right.

THE doc said it is my uterus stretching, but it really hurts sometimes.

I'm only 16 weeks but I've had the same thing, right across my csection scar, it aches and feels like it's stretching, ive also been trying to find out if it's normal, I had an emergency csection only 10.5 months ago so I kinda think well realistically its still all tender so I did think this pregnancy would be more painful as my uterus and belly grew. Goodluck i'm sure it's fine maybe just double check with your caregiver, im just going to ask my gp on wednesday just to make sure.
