Hey there, just seeking some advice. I give my 2.5 year old son a milk for morning tea and then before bed. I have just stopped bottles and adjusted to a cup of milk (twice a day). Just wondering, how many times to give your child milk ? I have heard that some swap a cup of milk for other dairy products, such as a tub of yogurt or cheese too ? Any advice welcome, cheers. :)

My 2.5yr old is still having 2 bottles of milk per day at sleep times (although day nap is optional) and he does get a little tiny bit in a bottle of a night if he wakes up and is really upset, but he also has water next to his bed which normally works..

also he has either a yoghurt or a cup of Milo milk in the mornings and cheese with some meals...

My 2.5 year old has milk twice a day (still from a bottle:hair:). About 100ml before his afternoon sleep (if he has one) and about 200ml before the teeth, book, bed routine at night. He also has cheese most days and yoghurt 2-3 times a week. Sometimes he asks for milkshakes, but never drinks too much of it. It's just the fun of making them, I think.

My DS (2.5yrs) has been having one cup of milk before bedtime for ages now and thats the only drink besides water he has....He has milk on his cereal, yoghurt after lunch, and a slice of cheese through the day to keep up his calcium.
