Hi

Just wanted to share with you some of the produccts/ things i've used for Oliver whilst he is teething- that have actually worked.

1) putting dummies in the fridge
2) Gummy Dummy - a dummy thats shaped like a mouth guard that they can chew on - although we have to hold on to it for him. I found that most teething rings have been too big for his poor little mouth!!!!
3) Brauers teething relief. All natural reflief. It's worked great for him. Have bben using day and night instead of panadol
4) When all else fails panadol!!!!

Thought some others could add and it might help parents when their at their wits ends with a baby in pain:thumbsdown:

Thanks! What a great thread. I didnt even think of putting DS's dummy in the thread. He is actually getting tooth number 6 so im going to put one of his dummies in the fridge for him to use tommorrow :smiliedance:

I use bonjella - and it seems to add a bit of relief.

Ive used nurofen when its been REALLY bad, but if had more success with panadol...

I have heard that lemon juice works?!?!?! I have never tried it, it might be an old wifes tale?

The best teething 'thing' I have used in the past is a frozen face washer. I put one in the freezer for a while then let it sit out until it is a little warmer then let bubba go for it. It's so easy for them to hold and they can really get their teeth in!

i have found these work:

1. bonjella
2. cold, wet face washer
3. the gummy dummy
4. cold teething rusks.
5. massaging the gums.
6. panadol but just barely.

As you can tell i loooooooooooooove Brauers !!!!
But when all else fails i go with Neurofen as it last longer & it has a much better taste than vile panadol !

I gave DS pieces of cold/frozen fruit in a piece of muslin, tied at the top. You can buy a similar thing, Tommee Tippee makes it, can't think of the name right now tho.
