hey all
has anyone ever used parisian browning essence to colour cake icing brown? does it make the icing taste funny?
i have to make a cake that my niece can eat but she's allergic to chocolate so can't use chocolate or cocoa to make the brown icing. i don't have a lot of time so can't go traipsing round the shops looking for alternatives. many thanks :)
