Hi All

I really hate peeling potatoes, well most veges but poatoes the most. So just wondering if anyone knows of a miracle machine that will peel potatoes for me :yelclap:

I am pretty sure there's not but you never know

Am I the only ones that hates doing this?

No I hate it too, this pregnancy, if I peel potatoes the starch makes my skin really itchy.
I LOVE eating potatoes so I will often just do it anyway.. But ugh, it sucks.

Maybe one of those winding apple peeler things could help?

unpeeled sounds ok but my bub has started solids and I am doing potato and pumpkin for him. I might google it and see what I can find.

I bought a potato ricer by Kuhn from Peters of Kensington. It's excellent, makes the smoothest mash ever! It's made of plastic and comes with two different ricer discs (one for extra smooth, the other for smooth) made of metal. All you have to do is cook your potatoes skin on, drain and add a potato or two to the ricer (you can cut them in half if you prefer), push the handles together and there you have it, mash/puree potato skin-free! Just add milk to make your mash creamy for bub.

I have an apple peeler, one of those metal ones that you jam the apple on and it peels and slices it for you as well as cores it. I have tried potatoes on it and it works if you have fairly oval/round shaped potatoes. Doesn't work so well on odd shaped taties, leaves bits of skin. I got mine off ebay.:)
