As the title says, what are you cooking for dinner tonight? :chef:
I'm in need of a few new meal ideas, as we tend to eat the same thing every week and it's getting a bit boring..
So come on, all you budding chefs out there, inspire me!

quick quiche and side salad
I love this quiche, there's no pastry so everything just gets mixed together in a bowl and cooked in a pie dish for 30min. Simple and yum.

Is there supposed to be a link for that? I can't click on it and I'd like to know what it is. Sounds good.

Take two on the Moroccan veg and couscous. I completely forgot I had run out of couscous. So the veggies are ready to go and all I have to cook tonight is the couscous, easy! :)

I honestly have no idea I haven't even thought about dinner. I am not that hungry and really can't be stuffed cooking tonight. I might have soup and make the kids 2 minute noodles or canned spaghetti and toast. Not sure what I'll make Grant though (or maybe he can get his own).

if anyone is interested heres a couple really quick but nice meals to make.
Bacon and Tomato salad
Oven bake 4-5 large rashers of middle bacon along with 6 tomatos (quartered) till bacon crispy and tomatos are soft/collapsing.
Cut bacon up into bite sized pieces and toss in with salad, put some thin slices (bits) of cheese on the tomato pieces and bake till melted and add to salad. Takes about 20 mins all up.
Sausage stir fry in Pasta Sauce.
2-3 sausages per person.
1 Jar Pasta Sauce.
Mixed Veg either fresh or frozen.
Get a large fry pan, put in a small amount of olive or Canola oil and heat.
Cut the sausages up into bite sized pieces (I find using kitchen sissors better then a knief) and place into the heated fry pan, fry till most of the pieces are light gold brown.
Throw in the cut mixed veg and pour in the pasta sauce, mix well. Put lid on the top and reduce heat to simmer for 20 mins stirring occasionally.
Serve with Rice, Pasta or Potatos of some kind.
Herbed Fish
Plain white fish fillets
Cumman seeds
Fresh Garlic
Margerine
oilve oil
Herbs (whatever ones you like. I use parsely, chives, corriander)
Paprika
Salt and pepper.
Heat pan with olive oil, place a desert spoon of Margarine in to melt. Add crushed garlic (as much or little as you like)and 2 teaspoons of cumman seeds, stir to prevent garlic from burning. As soon as marg melted add fish fillets and season with salt, pepper, herbs and paprika. Turn fish after a couple mins and repeat on other side then cover and turn heat down till fish flakey/cooked.
Serve with salad, rice or whatever you fancy.
These are just a couple dishes I make quite often that DH and I like, I hope you like them too.
