When AF returned, was it the same?

Liam is now 7 weeks old and my period has just returned, it was very different from before i was pregnant. It was better, painless and only was 3 days long with one day of spotting, one of bleeding and one of spotting. Is it possiable for pregnancy to help your periods? I am not on the pill now and was not before i was pregnant, and did not have a c-section.

Just noticed you hadnt got a reply yet. I don't know how much help I'll be as I've only had one vaginal birth & 3 ceasers & have breastfed all of them until atleast 4 months. Sorry I'm not much help. I'd say it sounds ok but you could check with your Dr? Lap it up.. I hate periods lol

Hi Nicki - i think it can be all over the place for a while!!

I have to say my first couple of AF's after DD were born were hideous. they were so heavy i could barely leave the house. So count yoruself lucky!!!

it does settle down into normality eventually.

Goodness I can't really remember. I did not get them back between DS1 and DS2 as I was breastfeeding and...well, he was a bit of a surprise so I suppose I was about to get them back:laughing: Hadn't noticed any 'symptoms' though - was evidently in a good mood...:laughing::p

Erm, after DS2 stopped feeding I don't remember them being too much different. But as I said, bit sketchy on the details.

If I were you, go see the GP if it is worrying you in any way. Then you will know for sure.:D
