Bassinet in travel cot

I co- sleep with my b/f baby at night.
During the day he sleeps in a travel cot with a bassinet.
He is now 7 months old.
At what age is it not safe for baby to use the bassinet?
He is not yet climbing up or standing.

Hi Kymmy, I think if he can sit up on his own, it might be time to graduate from the bassinet. I don't think there is an "age", but I think it is always safer to change before they get to the next stage IYKWIM.

i agree with shelbyville, kymmy. spencer used a travel cot all last year and we moved him from the bassinet section as soon as he got better at sitting up and also when he got a bit heavier.
