I work Mon-Wed from 10am-4pm. DS is in daycare mon and tues and with DF on Wed.
My boss knows my situation. Today I drop DS at daycare and go to work. I always get there about 10-15mins early in case I have anything extra to do (Im like a personal assistant). So I arrive at work at 9:45am and my boss isn't there. On mondays its only the 2of us in the office coz everyone else works from home.
By 10am I was getting a little edgy sitting in my car in the freezing cold while it's pouring rain. It gets to 10:45am and I decide Ive had enough I go to a payphone (had no credit) and call his mobile.
Our convo went something like
"Hey Steph how are u?"
ME_ "I'm Pi$$ed off. Ive been waiting for 1hour in my car!"
"Oh I'm sorry my plane from Melbourne got cancelled due to fog so I'm stuck here."
ME_ "Why didn't u call me?! I ran around all morning getting everyone ready. I payed for fuel to get here, childcare for the day, not to mention the unpaid hour I spent sitting in my car waiting for u!"
"Oh I'm sorry. Todays a bit of a write off so I'll just see u tomorrow."
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooooo annoyed. I spent an hour in travel time and an hour sitting in the car for NOTHING!!!!! So angry right now!!
