AF 7 Days Late and Have BFN's.

Hello everyone, I really need some help and wisdom on what I should do.

This is my second cycle after coming off the pill. My first cycle was a 28 day cycle and now this one is up to its 35th day with no AF so far. My AF is around 7 days late. We have been TTC. I have done a few pregnancy tests that have all been a BFN :thumbsdown: , including this morning.

The only symptoms I would say I have are that I have a bloated stomach, occassional headache, and I am going to the toilet quite a bit (but that is not unusual).

Could it be that my body hasn't settled down after coming off the pill or is it remotely possible that I could be pregnant?

What should I do? Go to the doctor or wait and test again towards the end of the week if my AF hasn't come.

Hi My Miracle Baby,

I'd say it could be either, but I hope for you its a pg sign! do you know when you ovulated? that could give you a better idea, if you have a long luteal phase (good sign of PG) or just a long cycle (i.e. long time before you ovulated) which is more likely to just be a long cycle for you then. My first two cycles off the pill were weird.

Do you have any idea when you ovulated? did you check cervical mucus for eggwhite discharge or did you do a temp chart? af comes between 12-16 days after ov average that would give you some kind of idea if your in with a chance Good luck :fingerscrossed: you get you bfp soon,

Both times after coming off the pill i got my first af like normal and then the second ones never came It had been 13 wks after i had had an af that i finally got a bfp and then i was only 4 wks

Well, I bleeded until CD 5. I have just bought Maybe Baby. I got pebbles and ferns between CD8 & 12. But never caught full ferning. (you see, I had pebbles in the morning after I woke up, but then pebbles/ferns in the afternoon (after not eating or drinking for 3 hours). So I was kind of all confused and may have missed testing on the ferning day - cause I did not test twice a day on all days). I had a strange red/brown discharge on CD 18 (??spotting). AF due around cycle day 29 perhaps (when last AF came - first cycle off the pill). Now, CD 36 no Af yet.

I gave up and went to the doctors yesterday. He said to wait another week before he does a blood test. I have to do a home test in a week if AF doesnt come and then go to him if it is a negative and he will do a pee and blood test. I will go to him too if I get a positive :fingerscrossed:

Approximately 12 days late now and still BFN's. :thumbsdown: . Will go back to the doctor on Monday if no AF comes and I am still getting BFN's.
