Hi everyone,
I'm a north-side Mum (New Farm) working part-time. I have a 6 month old (first bub) and would like to catch up with other Mums/Parents. Unfortunately, I can't make the Friday northside Mums meet up and I was wondering if any Mums would be keen to have morning tea in a park on Wednesdays or Thursdays? We could even have an activity like going for a 'parents with prams' walk once a month if people are keen.
Let me know if anyone's interested.
Cheers,
K & Ben

Hi Mel!
Nice to hear from you. I have to say that I love the photo of Eliana. I've also seen Nick's photo (that you modified) and he's looking great too.
Is there a particular day that would suit you to meet up?
Are any other Mums and bubs from the Friday group keen to do, say, a once a month meet up on another day?
Either Wed or Thurs is good for me and I'm happy to travel over to Chermside if that suits you guys better.
Cheers,
Karen & Ben

Hi Karen,

Grace and I are able to catch up on Wed or Thurs. We do have swimming on Wed mornings at 10am so after then on Weds would be best for us.

Let me know anyway.

Glad to hear you and Ben are doing well..

Cheers

Hi guys!

We're keen... Any day except Wed suits... Love the idea of the walk too - I got out of my daily walking routine - I spend too much time on BubHub now!!!

Cheers!

Hi Karen et al

Nick and I would be keen to come along and we are pretty flexible with days so once you decide when let me know and I'm happy to come to NF Park also esp with the roses in bloom - we went a few weekends ago and I had to stop Nick trying to eat them!!! Just as well rose petals are edible! :D

Hi everyone,
Thank you all for your replies. I'm thrilled that there are some Mums that are keen to get together - I miss catching up with everyone.
From the looks of all your postings, I'm thinking that maybe Thursday morning once a month could be good?
Shall we try for next Thursday 21st at 10:30am?
Does that time suit? Let me know if you'd prefer earlier or later.
Perhaps we could do a short walk with the prams and then have a m/tea in a park?
Let me know if this is what you'd all like to do. I'm happy to come over to near Chermside if that suits, or NF park with the riverwalk is an another option.
Once we get details organised for this first walk, we can go to PM'ing future meet-up details.
Look forward to hearing from everyone.

Hi All,

Karen- Next Thurs sounds great. I like the sound of a walk at NF park if everyone agrees.

I will keep an eye out once all is confirmed.

Hi guys

Thursdays are good for me... But - being a fairly new (chicken!) driver, I might give this Thursday a miss - can't cope with driving to New Farm Park! I'm keen for next time if it's anywhere a bit closer...

Cheers!

Hi all,
I've just realised I made a mistake in my last reply.
We're actually meeting up tomorrow (thursday 21st), not the 28th.
Sorry for any confusion.
If anyone's keen to come along, PM me and I'll give you all the details.
Cheers,
Karen
