View Full Version : new again
just got my pc at home set up so i am back again :)
My ds just turned one, love to talk to other mums as i dont know many with young ones.
i have a question already, my little one can turn the change table into a battle field, at the moment i make sure i have something distracting on hand for him to inspect while cleaning him up, like a book or the sudocream tub etc. This works most of the time but i worry as he gets closer to the potty training age he is going to get more fidgety.
Love to hear any ideas
I think if you are firm, he will learn that he has to
be still at certain times.
Welcome!
Hi, welcome to bubhub.
In time bubs will learn to ly still for you. My DD even gets her nappy and the wipes for me and lays down to wait (though shes 2, and I should really get on to TT her, but its harder in the winter)
 hi and welcome to bub hub

 and Welcome to bubhub :smiliedance:
We used to have a toy chain above Adens change table. Most of the time people just hang the chain down, but for safety reasons, we connect both ends to the wall. With the toys on there it keep him distracted, especially when we made up silly rhymes!!
