help with job letter

I need help!! I haven't had to write a letter requesting work for a long time, and I don't know how to start. I am going around to the local schools tomorrow to see what casual work is available and leave them all my details. But I just don't know how to start a covering letter, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :yes: :yes:
