Irish on the Sunshine Coast?

Hi all! So delighted to come accross all you Irish mammies! I'm 26 and moved here to the Sunshine Coast with DP and 2 kids 5 & nearly 3 six months ago. We are loving it so far (altho work prooved to be more of a challenge than we first thought) we're getting there now and really starting to settle in.

Are there any other Irish mams/dads out there living on/near the sunshine coast (we're close to the uni), if so I'd love to hear from you ;)

Welcome to Oz :) - hope you are still enjoying yourselves here. We live between the city and the coast, about an hour away from the sunshine coast-you're in a great spot up there, we've been quite a few times!

I have a 7 month old, first bub, moved to Oz 3 years ago from N Ireland with DH and still enjoyin it - its a different world!

It takes a while to settle, but sounds like its working out for yous, you will love it between now and Oct/Nov - weather is just beautiful, beats grey irish skies any day! :)
