View Full Version : BFP and a bit scared
Well my AF was due 2 days ago so I decided to test and got a BFP. I am thrilled but I also am a bit scared. I have been pregnant 3 times before and although I have gone on to have 2 healthy pregnancies I have M/C once. The main indication for me that I was pregnant was the sore boobs very early on and for the one where I M/C I did not get the sore boob sympton (sorry if this is TMI). Anyway for this pregnancy I have not had the sore boobs and I am really scared that this will turn into a M/C also. I have just stopped feeding my 8 month old so this may have something to do with it (any advice there?). I am too scared to tell my DH as I don't want him to get all excited and risk him getting dissapointed if I do M/C. What should I do? Should I tell my DH or wait for a while? Sorry for rambling on and I am not even sure if this is the right message board to put this on. Hope this makes sense and thanks for listening. Please no PM's, thanks.
Very confused.

Hi there, congrats on your bfp. It is understandable to be scared after having a m/c but i would definately tell your dh cause then he would be able to be there for you if you do m/c. I never had sore boobs with any of my 4 pregnancies till towards the end so it is not necessarily an indication of a m/c. Good luck to you sending lots of sticky baby dust to you.

this is my 5th pg, i had 2 mc before dd 1 so i know what you mean about feeling worried:hugs:
i havent had sore boobs with this pg either, its been really different to the others:)
i think you should tell your dh, im sure it will be easier for you to have his support and someone to talk to about your concerns;)
best of luck with this pg:yelclap:
first of all, congratulations, second of all, big Hug, I had 4 miscarriages between my two kids, and let me tell you, that you dont stop worrying, I was worried throughout my entire pg with my son. Deep down, I always knew with the m/c's that they werent going to maker it.
I hope you are going to be fine, if you are really worried, why not ask your dr for a blood test, that should show how strong the pg hormones are, especially if they do a repeat one a week later...
good luck, and I think you should tell dh either way, you are in this together.
