are bubhubers going to identify themselves with the pink ribbons?

We were going to go and had saved our free ticket to print off but have now changed our minds to save $$$. We need to pay to have our roof fixed and I always end up getting talked into products and services I don't need at the Expo's so hubby wants me to give it a miss this year :(

I'll be going too, but as a Midwifery Student trying to find some lovely ladies who are willing to be involved in my follow-through experiences! And I might have to stockpile a few things for later on down the track
If anyone would like to be part of a follow-through experience (we need to follow 10 ladies per year) or is thinking of having a student midwife and would like some more information, feel free to send me a PM :)

Caz - I'll print one off for you hun.
Manxie - Want to join Caz and me Friday?
I'll be there unless bubs decides to make an early appearance!
I'm gonna bring the mood down (sorry but at least I'm being honest!!!) and say a big no for me this year. EXPOs are full of the 'new-fangled-must-have' baby gadgets that make you believe that you really don't have everything you 'need' for your bub when all you really need is somewhere for them to eat, sleep, bath & poo!!!! :p Most of them are also overpriced.
Nice try manufacturers of the world, but I'm not fooled! :raspberry: :D
I'd rather buy clothes & shoes!!!!!!!!
*runs off and hides before people start throwing things at her*

Send me a text when you are there and we can try and hook up to say hi. I'd rather do the wandering around bit by myself though to be honest as I think it would be just too hard with all our big prams and toddlers. I had a trial run at the gardening expo last weekend and to say the girls got ratty is an understatement.
Also hoping to catch my fellow mod for lunch if she's free:p
Nan I can see where you are comming from. I'm not one to be sucked into buying all the latest and trendiest stuff though, ebay is my friend;)
I do LOVE the bookstall though and get a big bag of great books for dd1/presents which I stash away each year and I think is good value. Also there were some great maternity bras on offer last year, much much cheaper than the shops.
Also there are sometimes some products that you just dont see anywhere else which are fab. Like those disposable potties I think I talked to you about. They werent there last year but I would be so happy to see them there this year:fingerscrossed:
Having said all that I wouldnt want to pay to go and am glad of my freebie tickets.

Manxie - Completly understand, maybe we can meet up for a cup of tea or something
Nan - Don't run :D
I see where your coming from too and i'll have to be good myself when I go there cause I am susceptable to 'gadgets'. Saying that I'm no mug either and this time round i'm going with something specific in mind and if it's not there/not good enough of a deal then I leave empty handed which DH would be pleased about :p

oh heck ..
I assure you .. it will be disappointing .. I'm rather normal I'm afraid - people like Moorish and Mischief just provoke me .. sigh ..
I promise to be friendly though :D I hope to find some time to potter around the expo too .. :fingerscrossed:

Last time, I gave most of the shampoos etc to my mum, so she had supplies at her place for when we came over and I bathed DS there.
