So 2 weeks ago I had really bad chest pain and then started to get short of breath. My GP told me to go to emergency and I was diagnosed with 2 pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in the lung). I have never had any pregnancy or general health issues before and this is my 3rd bub. I had to have xrays, ultrasounds, and a VQ scan (all of which i cried through because of the possible risk to my baby) I was in hospital for a few days and put on heparin. now I am home I am on daily injections of clexane @100mg daily, my new doctor wanted to switch me to warfarin but I said no.

I guess what I really want to know / hear from is other people that have experienced this....was there any effect on your bub, waht medication were you on, any advice!

Anything really from other people that have been through this as I just dont know what information to trust.

Im freaking out! help!

:hugs:this is a pretty serious health issue. you really need to go with your drs advice, no one else can. if you are worried, get a 2nd opinion of another specialist.
