Can anyone recommend any dog/cat boarding kennels on the Northside?

Preferably ones that arent too expensive.

Thanks
Sharon

Hi,

My mother and I use the Brisbane Pet Motel at Boondall if we need to board our dogs. Its been a little while since we have been on holidays but I think the price might have been approx $12 a day.
(I could be wrong on this). Our dogs seem quite happy there.

Why not try an in-home pet sitter. If you have a couple of animals it sometimes works out cheaper than a pet motel and they get to stay in their own home.

There are a few on Norris Rd, at bracken ridge.

I used one of them last December (avondale i think its called) when we got married for our cat, and it was horrible it stank and the cages were soooo tiny. I must admit i didnt check it out when i booked and hubby dropped him off b4 we went away.

When we had a dog, we used Cypruss Lodge at Burpengary. The owner's name is Mike and they were awesome. They knew all the dogs, looked after them really well and gave us a discount if he was in for more than a week. Plus they will look after pretty much any type of animal, even birds and lizards.

Juliek - I saw them on the web today & they looked quite good, reasonable prices too.

I used one on Norris Rd for my cat, they werent that great. It was ok, cat came back fine but I dont really want to put my dog in there.
