gonna post in special needs also.
my son has an austim spectrum disorder.
i want to find a paediatrician with a special interest/extensive experience in autism spectrum disorders.
central coast/ hunter or newcastle region
although def would consider sydney also if there are none closer to home

I was recommended Dr Phil Buckner who is at Dudley by another Bubhubber. He mainly sees babies but was happy to see my son and helpful with referrals to other services.

We will also be seeing Dr Lee Sturgeon at Speers Pt who is a psychologist specialising in children.

Goodluck i know its not easy, knowing what your next step should be and trying to juggle everything.

just did a quick google on dr buckner and it seems he only sees kids under 2?
i couldnt find anything with reguard to dr buckner having an interest in austism spectrum disorders?
might ring them and see anyway tomorrow
we see a child behavioural psychologist already at gosford. but thanks for the recommendation of dr sturgeon
