Is anyone else watching this? It's an English show with a group of 17 & 18 year old couples for are going to spend a month fast-tracking through their lives to see how they go. They've been moved in together, the girl has spent 2 days with a belly (to "simulate" being 8 months pregnant) and now they're setting up for a baby. They will be looking after real babies.
Apparently it goes through a whole series of life experiences. I don't know why but the English seem to do a lot of these things and I usually enjoy them :)

Hmm.. could get firey next week!! Have set the series link to be sure I don't miss it.
I can't believe that Fiznick guy who made his g/f do the housework before he let her put the baby belly on!!! *******! No wonder she cried when he mum came over, she realised what a prick her boyfriend was.
I wish I only had to be pregnant for 2 days though LOL

Me too!!!!!! I liked watching! but was a bit freaked out by a few of them, and no WAY would I be leaving my bubba with at least one set (the one where the girl had the "baby be real" doll for study and shoved it in her cupboard under clothes, and it was dead by the monday.. could not help but cringe at the mother describing it, trying to make it seem like she was disapointed, but peeing herself laughing at the line "was dead by monday".. :( - same girl is shown in the "preview" rocking the baby in the stroller and it tips over with the bubba in it... )
I watched it and I enjoyed it - another show to add to the list of programs I'm addicted to.
I found it all a bit disturbing to an extent. Why do these kids want kids? I recall one saying he wanted to have a baby and his own house for more "freedom".... does he not realise living with a baby is like living with a ditcator???

I lived in the UK for a couple of years, in the Midlands. The area that I lived in has the highest rate of teenage pregnancy in the UK. There are a lot of these shows over there (and we don't actually get them all) trying to get kids and parents to understand how it really is. I doubt that they will truly be left alone with someone else's baby (especially the one who put her doll in the cupboard!).
I think it would be more realistic though if they did it over a year, but that's probably not able to be done :) I think some of them are like our 4 year old, I'll just do these few things so that makes me responsible and a grown up. Uh, no.
Definitely will be watching it again next week though!!

I watched it and my first thoughts were who would give there babies to these couples to borrow? especially after seeing the way some of them speak to each other and communicate. At least they are giving it a go though and seeing if there relationship can handle the stress of having a baby before actually really having one
