Cord Query

I was just wondering for those of you who left the cord to finish pulsating before you cut it - how long did it pulsate for? :)

Im planning on doing it for my next bub and was just wondering:)

not long, i was busy holding bubs, then at some stage the midwife said, its stopped who is going to cut the cord?
sorry thats totally vague...:rolleyes: i dont rememeber it being a big deal or anything though:)

Yeah it wasn't that long for me either, maybe 20 minutes at the most? Could have been longer though, you know how newborn babies are such great time-wasters, you can spend 4 hours staring at them and it feels like 10 seconds.

I had to wait a while with my last, there was a huge knot in it so I had everyone wanting a look. :eek:
