:D Hi Everyone,
I am 31, married and pregnant. This is my first baby. I am keen to chat with other women who are mums/about to be mums. I have but one friend who has a baby and she is overseas, so I feel a little out of the 'mothers hoop', I need to befriend more mothers! I am a uni student and I am currently on holidays. I plan on continuing so it would be great to hear from other mums who have also studied or worked while juggling a baby.
I was also wondering if anyone has had those belly masks done and what they thought.
I think it looks interesting and would like to get one as a reminder of this special time.:smiliedance: (special minus the constant peeing and the weird hormones that make you ...well...weird at times.)
looking forwards to chatting:ecomcity:

Welcome!!
I am looking for part time work at the moment and when that happens will also be doing my bachelor of education at uni, aswell as being a mum, running my own home business and TTC # 3 at the end of the year!!
congratulations on such a special time. I was (and still am) in a similar position to you. No mum or inlaw around nor any pregnant friends with young kids to chat to. My partner and i also run a business so it was straight back to work after our son was born. The best thing is i got to take him to work with me until he was four months old, after which he needed more interaction and safe play areas.
At first i got quite frustrated as i tried to incorporate ds into my existing life which was never going to work, but when i started incorporating everything else around his needs i got a whole lot more done. It just means that you have to be more flexible (as does most everyone else) but it's all very much worth it.
hope this helps

Hi, welcome to bub hub. I think those casts are interesting too. Not sure if I would end up doing one though. Might just get dh to take a couple of nude shots (tastfull nude) of me for a keepsake.
