Hi!
This spotting is starting to really get annoying. Usually it starts around 7dpo, this time it started 2dpo (IUI cycle)
I'm clutching at straws now but does anyone have success stories of getting a bfp after light bleeding for a couple of weeks? Have spoken to FS, he doesn't seem at all concerned about the bleeding, so I'm trying not to stress about it but it's hard when I get constant reminders every time I visit the bathroom!!
Thanks for your help...

i spot from 3dpo no idea why i don't have a positive story to go with that yet but fingers crossed i will soon.
Good luck could the spotting be from the IUI?

I can really sympathise with you hun. Ever since my cycles returned after having DD I have spotted from 7dpo... its so frustrating, mentally draining etc. Every month when I see it I just think its not my month. BUT my FS does say that it doesnt hinder fertility.... and after laparoscopys and tests there is no cause for it.. I know its frustrating, as something is causing it but no body can pinpoint.
However I have found with taking clomid that it is now delayed to 11dpo.... so at a 15day LP I now only spot for 4 days or so before AF. Not sure how clomid has helped with yoru spotting?
I guess we just need to take heart that our FS says that it doesnt hinder conception and just have to pray and keep everything crossed for that lovely BFP. Goodluck.

well i was spotting a different amount each cycle, i normally had about a 12 day LP and according to my charts over the cycles before i got a BFP i spotted:
1 day before AF
2 days before AF
8 days before AF
6 days before AF
2 days before AF
and on the cycle i got my BFP i spotted from 6-9dpo (but not sure if that should be classified as implantation spotting or not).
I had recently started having acu and TCM which were helping my cycles a heap, so im not sure if i would have spotted on this cycle if it werent for implantation, but here is evidence that it can happen

Hi Cinderella123, I also spot from about 7-10DPO every month which I never had before conceiving DD. This week I visited a naturopath for the first time and she told me that I would not get a BFP whilst I am spotting before AF and she has given me some herbs she said will help to normalise my cycles over the next few months.
However, this was my first ever visit to a naturopath and I really don't know whether this is true or not or how successful the herbs will be just yet. I'll let you know if the spotting stops in the next few months! I would also be inclined to think that if the FS wasn't too concerned then it must be something that he sees quite a lot including people that do get their BFP. It may be related to IUI like Ringneck mentioned earlier.
Best of luck getting your :bfp: soon!!
Hi Cinderella
I have the same problem. Went to naturopath who said I was low in progesterone and that caused it but when I went to FS he did bloods and progesterone was perfect so I tend to think dont let anyone just guess whats happening get all the tests done. Anyway bloods showed I dont ovualte very well and is most likely cause so started clomid. FS will do laproscopy (apparently endo can cause spotting) if no luck with clomid in 3 cycles though he seems to think endo shouldnt be a problem for me. Basically seems like there are a number of reasons and in some cases none at all so get all the tests done and if FS is happy then hopefully it wont stand in the way of your BFP.
I have this same issue, it is so frustrating and so annoying. Its so disheartening when i see the spotting about 7dpo as I know that I will not be getting my BFP:(
makes me sad and even sadder to think that i may have endo as it runs in my family bad. argh :( sad sad sad..I have been through enough tests etc thru other illnesses I cant bebothered going thrumore tests and a lap. :(
best of luck Cinderella I hope u get ur BFP very soon and this horrid spotting goes away! I know EXACTLY how u feel xoxo hugs

I get spotting anywhere from 5 - 10 DPO. This month it arrived on 9DPO and I assumed AF was here (got a temp drop too), but it must have been implantation spotting as my temp went up again and there is tiny little tacker in there.
Good luck - I so hope all you fellow spotters get March BFPs.

thanks everyone - it makes such a difference to have the support of you lovely ladies.
The spotting is still going strong, has lasted 2dpo until now (10dpo). It's apparently not linked to prog as I had a blood test last Wed and FS didn't mention prog being low.
Have another bt this Thursday - really not pinning my hopes on bfp but thanks mrmoosmum for glimmer of hope! I'm clinging to anything I can get at the moment...a lot of this ttc is such a mystery even to FS. As a bit of a control freak I find it hard!! If I knew what was causing the spotting I feel like I could handle it. Oh well...will try not to worry about it much more as it's all sending me crazy.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for replying!
