Baby Shower confusion...

Hey everyone I'm 17 & nearly 17 weeks pregnant, I was wondering when was the best time for me to throw a baby shower?? Being my first baby & all, I wouldn't have a clue! Any ideas also for the baby shower would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi! I had my baby shower when I was about 7 months pregnant. Its nice if you've got a big belly for it! A friend of mine had hers about 3 weeks before she was due!! :eek: (Lucky I didnt do that, my daughter was 3 weeks early!!).
Im sure I read in a post somewhere about doing a scrapbook for your baby and getting everyone to add their bit to it.
We played silly games and ate cute little nibblies and the non-pregnant ones drank champagne punch!
One game we played is where you have a doll (Or teddy bear) and you are timed to put on a cloth nappy and pilcher + dress your baby blindfolded! (it gets quite funny when the nappy pin is involved!).

I had mine 6 weeks before the baby was due. Which was an excellent time because I too had a big belly.

A friend of mine had it a month before her due date and her baby came the next day! :eek:
