I am actually considering getting a referral to Tresillian, but I feel as though I should be able to sort out the sleeping issue myself. I keep thinking there are others worse off than me. DD is 15 months old and has been waking constantly since she was 12 months old. Sometimes it is just for a drink and resettle and other times it takes forever to get her back to sleep. I keep blaming it on the teeth and hope that it will end soon. I have read so many similar stories, it would be good to get some feedback on any ways people have coped with this issue and if anyone has been to Tresillian.

Hi there.
I've not been to any sort of sleep school or anything, but I have tried a few techniques such as "The No Cry Sleep Solution".
Nothing has worked for me except the 'letting go' technique. :o This isn't about making your baby sleep, it is about letting go of what 'everyone else' thinks is normal, and just following your instincts.
My son has been a very frequent waker since 4 months old, and he's just turned 1 now. Co-sleeping worked for us for a while... then when it stopped working, having him back in the cot worked. We just take it one night at a time. I do whatever I need to do to help him get (back) to sleep, while giving him the opportunity to do it himself. It just feels wrong to let him cry.
You are not alone! SO many babies wake at night, for all different reasons... some most likely habbit. Don't do anything you are uncomfortable with.
