Hi,
I want to make some mcn's for my friend, she has an 8 month old and has had her in sposies fulltime since birth. She's shown a lot of interest in my mcn's. I was just wondering if her little girl will go ok in mcn's or will she be too used to the trimmer sposies and not be happy in the mcn's. I make snap-in's that are quite trim.
I've been lucky enough to have my little bloke in mcn's fulltime since we left hospital so he only knows mcn's.
What's been you experience mixing up the two?

I would say she should be ok, the only problem i see is that some of her current clothes may not go over the MCN's. I buy my DD the next size up in pants because of MCN's, but other than that i cant see any dramas.

I changed DD over at about 20 months.
She was a bit sceptical at first, but took to them right away and now will get cranky at me if I put a disposable on her.
So she had a clear preference, she embraced the change.

I changed DD over at about that age and she didn't really notice :D She also wears a sposie at night still as I am terrified she will start night waking!
When we were on holidays in Phuket recently for 2 wks, she wore sposies for 2 wks and didn't really care either.
She does notice when she is wearing a nappy and she takes great delight in taking off her sposie when sh is wearing a dress, but I think that's more to do with her age and inability to leave things alone!
O and J were switched over at 2.
O was no probs, didn't mind the change.
J didn't like any of the nappies except bum genius... but after a week he was right in anything.
I have a pack of sposies that Gab wears to kindy (I put one on him before he goes down, they supply nappies there... I don't mind him in sposies for 2 days a week... as long as I'm not buying them!)
And when I first put on on him he was quite confused.. lol and O and J asked what they were! "Is that a nappy? Is it a paper one? "
So at 8 months I think your friend's bub will be okay with the switch
We made the switch about that age. DS was fine - except for night nappies. I have to stuff a krap katcher to high heaven to last him the night and he isn't comfortable in it so we're still in a sposie at night.

Thanks guys, hopefully they (mum & bub) will both love them! :)
DS was 15 months and didn't mind at all.
