Anyone Else Have A Post Pregnancy Illness/Condition?

Hi I Was Extremelly Ill With Both Of My Sons And I Was Hospitalised Many Times With Them. It Appears To Have Had A Huge Impact On My Health. I've Been Diagnosed With Hashimotos Disease, (a Thyroid Condition) Leading To Hypothyroidism And Glucose Intolerance Which The Specialists Say Was Brought On Because Of My Ill Health During Both Pregnancies. Has Anyone Else Out There Had Any Post Pregnancy Illnesses Like These? Kylie :)

Kylie, not me, but a good friend in Ireland had hypothyroidism. She had ok pregnancies, although was hospitalised for a few days with both (cannot remember what for). It prevented her from breastfeeding the first one for long. She had a second the next year and it didn't recur then. She's just a third and is healthy again, so hopefully it wouldn't recur if you were to have another.
