Ok, very easy and basic lasagne recipe...handed down in my family for generations :) Ok, only from my mum, but its very popular!!

Mince sauce - cook up 500g mince, add if you like - chopped onion, mixed herbs. Add 420g tin of tomato soup (rosella is the best). Simmer and set aside.

White sauce - buy a packet mix. (or do it from scratch if you like..hmm..) Add boiling water, stir, set aside.

Lasagne sheets - buy instant lasagne sheets (san remo is good).

Assemble! Put a bit of meat sauce in the bottom of the lasagne dish to stop the lasagne from sticking to the bottom. Add a layer of lasagne sheets, a layer of meat sauce, a layer of white sauce. Repeat as many times as ingredients and size of dish will allow. At the top layer, after putting on the last layer of white sauce, sprinkle over some grated cheese.

Pop in the oven at 180 for about 30 mins.

YUM!!!

It even pleases my hard to please husband....thats got to be worth a try!

If you feel game, you can always add more to it - grated carrot in the meat sauce is really nice and you can add other grated vegies too, like zucchini.

Gosh I'm feeling a bit peckish now! :chef:
