Spotting in early pregnancy

I've been spotting for the last couple of days, but got a BFP at 11 DPO. The spotting is at its heaviest today though. I only get spotting with pregnancies that I'm going to lose (4) and none with DS. For those people who have spotted, how long does it last? Has anyone had spotting for one but not all pregnancies?

I have had spotting and even heavy bleeding with pregnancies that turned out fine one pregnancy that i did not have any bleeding with did not continue past 21 weeks...so i am a bit different :confused: sorry cant really help but good luck:fingerscrossed:

I've had mixed results with spotting.
first two pg I spotted and lost them. DS1 I had spotting at 5 weeks and he came out fine. DS2 nothing. pg #5 spotting at 12 weeks and found out I had a missed miscarriage. This pg spotting at 5 weeks for 3 days and had a scan at 7 weeks and bub showed a strong heartbeat and great growth so :fingerscrossed: that at 13 week scan s/he is doing well and everything is fine.
Could you go for a scan and check things out?
I hope this isn't a sign of anything bad and just some implantation bleeding. :babydust2:

Thanks for your responses - they are reassuring that this could turn into a baby. I guess it's just a matter of wait and see. If I don't get heavy bleeding and the HPT stays positive I'll get a scan at 6-7 weeks.
