don't know where to start

dd is 2 now. she will sit on the toilet or potty but won't do a wee. she says wee and poo so she knows what she's doign there. sometime sshe even takes off her nappy and says wee. so we put her on the toilet and after 10 or more minutes there's nothing so take her off then she'l do a wee on the floor.
tips please??

Sounds like we are in the same boat! We'll have to keep an eye on each other's threads....

Its frustrating isn't it because if they're not weeing after such a long time you think maybe they're not ready but if they're the ones instigating the visits to the toilet you can't just say no, you're not ready for the toilet, yet everyone says successful toilet training should only take a few days to a week if they're ready!!! Arrrrgh!
