Hi allFirst post here but I have spent a good time reading, its good to get pen to paper here :).My wife and I really want to have kids so we are starting to organise things & get ready to start trying.My wife is 25 & I am 23. About 2 yrs ago she went off the pill for about 3 months because we were trying, but when she did that, her body did not like it very much.She has been on the pill for about 18 years. She originally was prescribed it to help with acne. I think the pill is called Juliette. I think it has 21 tablets then 7 sugar ones from memory.When she went off it her cycle went very irregular eg 45/+ days, she started to get heaps of pimples on her back and face, and feel bloated and gained a fair bit of weight.She has worked so hard and lost 20kg recently to get her body healthy to have kids so she wants to do everything she possibly can to not have what happened 2 yrs ago happen to her body again.What I'm wondering is there anyone we should go and see, like a dr or family centre something, or anything that can be done to overcome the problems she experienced last time she went off the pill?? Or is it just a matter of going cold turkey on it then individually dealing with the problems? Is it best to stop taking at the end of a course or midway through?Is there a way to get a regular cycle after going off the pill or is it a matter of every woman is different?Has anyone else been through the above?Thank you so much for taking the time to read and help us :)
