Big :hugs: babydreaming! I really sucks that your man won't DTD when you're O spotting... jump in the shower & who knows the difference?? My DH would rather have spotting sex than no sex at all :laughing: But I must admit I usually steer clear of it for (dis)comfort factor. I thought I heard somewhere that spotting around O was a sign of good fertility (?)

Hopefully you time BDing really well M25 and hubby's drinking won't matter at all :fingerscrossed:

Babydreaming, my advice re your husband, LIE! Dont tell him about the bleeding and he wont be put off. I'd definitely get another opinion if you dont feel confident in your dr.

I've just had some soup and bought up half the chemist. Throat is now sore but that is good because it give me answers - I have the flu! Explains the fainting and general discomfort.

It's more then just spotting though preggy. It's like a full on af bleed.

We tried dtd in the shower, but it just wasn't happening. Our shower is wayyyy too small, and the water doesn't help.
He said we could try in the bath when we got home, but I had started bleeding by then and dp said NOWAY!

We dtd once when af was almost over (back when he lived at home), and the mess! Oh the mess! DP put his foot down on bd'ing when there is ANY blood lol.

I actually had a dream about it last night :confused: I dreamt that I lied and said there was no blood, but then *you know* and there was definately blood there and dp got mad at me.

well i suppose hun, u just gotta put it to him, it is o spotting if we r going to concieve, we gotta put up with a little mess!!
some men and women are grosssed out by it, i dont do it when its my af, cause thats just way to much and there is no need, but if its o bleed, it mean the egg has left the buliding and u need to catch it before she gets in a taxi to visit af.

I thought O bleeding was just a bit of spotting though? This is like a full on af where I need to wear a pad and you can feel it coming out (TMI) And it lasts for abotu 4-5 days like a normal af too.

If it was just spotting then I would def lie, but there is no hiding the amount of blood that comes out.

Hmmm, that is weird then , cause that means u are having 12-14 day cycles, ish.
I would speak to another dr and tell them and see if u get another opinion.

What is happening to you happened to me last cycle. I went and had a heap of blood tests etc. I also went and saw a FS. He said sometimes the body does things that cannot be explained. My bleeding lasted for 8 days then went away then I got a normal AF not long after. FS said that next cycle should be normal and he was right. He mentioned that sometimes AF doesn't shed the lining like it is suppose to and that is why you have bleeding in between. Don't stress about it too much. Your body will be back to normal in no time!!!!!!!!!

AFM I am halfway through my tww. Hubby asked me this morning if I feel pregnant and I just don't know. I think if we weren't ttc, I wouldn't even notice all these minor symptoms that I'm having, but because we are ttc, I'm paying attention to EVERYTHING iykwim *sigh* more waiting i guess.....:rolleyes:

evening ladies, well i have news......
as u all know i dont temp or use opk, but seeing as though i was feeling like o was near, and had this spotting, i bought my very first opk test kit.
hubby was hesitant but gave in, it cost $20.85 for 7 forelife anyway, i came straight home and poas and IT WAS A POSITIVE OPK!!!
The test line came up straight away even before the dye had moved accross and the, control line took forever to show up, and the test line got darker!!!!!!!!!!!!
So i am asuming that i am oing today, cause i dont have a test from yesterday to compare too, but i will test again tomorrow, it says to test at the same time, so 4.55pm i have a date with the loo and a stick, yipeee.

The best day to start testing is the day after af is due imo, but i nver listen to myself, lol.
the grls here are really lovely and a great bunch of chatterboxs, we will try and help out as much as we can, and if not we are always a ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, and we love a vent!!

OK - this is the first month since TTC that I am really really hoping it's the month. I've been on the verge of tears all day - and i NEVER cry. Why, I am wondering - since it would be way too early to feel anything since i am only 3DPO. It's gonna be a long wait this month :(

hey all, So af is not due until sunday/monday and now have a couple more unusual symptoms that I can't explain.
The cramping is still hanging around and it is just below my rib cage on the left hand side, what this is from I have no idea as I have had lower abdomen cramping since around the time I o'd. And now to top it off I have realy bad indigestion and I never get indigestion so if anyone can also answer that I would be greatful. Still have bloating and gas and tired and always want to eat(not tat I am hungry just feel the need to eat, maybe that explains the bloating!!!).
Anyway I think I may be grasping at straws but hey.

30th April is perfect for me too.

Feeling a fair bit better although it's definitely the flu. DH has the diarrhoea but giving him no sympathy as he's given me so very little the past few days. Men!

M25, well if you must know my dear, with 2 of mine I (yes, it happens, FAKED it), so the big O is not required at all. In fact, I was reading somewhere that having an O had a greater chance of resulting in one sex, whilst if you didn't you had a greater chance of resulting in the other. So stop fretting Hon.

Its usally about 24 - 36 hours after your first pos opk so try and get some bdg in again tnt and you will cover all bases :). I rarely Orgasm when we are doing TTC bd. I dont know why cause I do other times so I hope it doesnt affect chances no wonder its taken a year now !!!

Ok, as it was my first opk and had to line the test line looking better than the control line, im assuming it was positive, but i though i was oing or starting to o on thursady cd12, o not sure, but am oing and today is cd 14, so hope fully od by at least tomorrow, but when i opk tonight ill get a good indicater of what is going on, cause the line should be darker or ighter, if any of that made sence. :laughing:
