Does BV cause infertility?

Hi All :wave:
Does anyone know if BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) can make it hard to conceive. I am told that this is very common bacteria in most women & some do not know if they have it or not until they have had there pap test done. Has anyone had any experiences or know anything about it?

I was diagnosed with gardenella after a pap smear about one month prior to getting pregnant - I was asymptomatic at the time of my transfer so my doc wasn't concerned - said most women have the bacteria anyway and only concerning when it flares up - buit no big deal - can be treated with antibiotics.
