Hi, am new to Bubhub, but was advised that the ladies here could give some brilliant info.

My Fiance is awaiting his Officer Selection Board for the Army, so we are crossing fingers that they recommend him.

As the title suggests, what are the schooling options close to Duntroon, where the other Defence Kids would more than likely go. :detective:

Our daughter has just started school this year, and I feel bad enough pulling her out mid year (the course starts in July). So I would love for her to go to a school where they show some compassion to this kind of lifestyle.

Any help is grately appreciated :hugs:

Fingers crossed for him. How Exciting, I was a staff cadet myself at Duntroon back in 1988, I really hope all goes well. As for schools, I think maybe the closest are St Claires and St Eddies but it all depends on what age your children are.

If your DF is already in service then the defence families network will give you the best info. If he is about to join then get in contact as soon as he does- they are great.

Will he be there as a cadet or as training staff?
Feel free to pm me if you like.

Good luck for your fiance and I hope he gets on the course. I can't help with the schooling I am afraid as I haven't been in Canberra that long and my little one isn't nearly at school age yet.

Look forward to meeting you if you do move down here.
