Hi all!
My name is Kylie. Im a first year Direct entry Bachelor of Midwifery student at Flinders University. I am looking for women who would allow me the privilege of being involved - even if as an observer - in their antenatal care, postnatal care and the honour of being present when they birth their baby - in whatever way they choose (except a homebirth with an independent midwife). This would be part of my follow-on experience as a student.
I would be happy to chat to anybody either by PM, email, phone, or in person if you would like to know more or are interested in allowing me to be part of this special time in your life. There is of course, no cost to you at all.
Thankyou,
Kylie :flowerz:

Totally off topic, but I am just so happy that you have found something that you want to do.

Well done, I have said it before, that you are an amazing person. It is still true.

Your little ones are lucky to have you as their Mum. :hugs:

Thankyou - you're making be blush though :o

I am very excited about it and can't wait to support women as they go through their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journeys :)

Ohh!!! I just posted a thread that I was looking for a doula/support person at the last minute. I only have two weeks left though, would that still be good experience for you if it was only the last 2 weeks, the birth and the after-care?

I really hope so, I have no-one to support me. My mother was my support person, but she is just too wrapped up in her other daughter's baby and was hardly even interested in my birth plan.
