I've been doing opk's since CD12 (pictures below)

I know they aren't positive, but they are fairly dark for a few days in a row. Why would that be? Also, it is around the time I should O. I have irregular cycles.

They usually get darker closer to O. You could try and do 2 per day once they start to get darker, like today, in case you get your positive one tonight...then you won't miss it and be wondering.

Good Luck:babydust2:

OPK also pick up pregnancy- maybe do one of those as well if readings have been getting higher on a daily basis! I was testing for ovulation when it picked up my :bfp:! I'm going to try and get it confirmed by blood test tomorrow- but it looks like I ovulated on cd67!!!

Good luck!!

Hey Babydreaming

I'm wondering how many times a day you're using the OPK's?

When we were TTC with our current pregnancy I was using OPK's 2-3 times a day so I wouldn't miss the surge.

I'll post a pic HERE (http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o236/chenicimo/Random/024.jpg) of my results.
The last test is the true positive - I didn't think to take a photo of the whole set with the next 24 hours worth of OPK's there too - however just picture them getting lighter and that's pretty much how it looked :).

I'd recommend using them a couple of times a day as you can see from my pics how the result can change in just a few hours.

Good luck!

I've only had OPKs for one cycle.. and was testing twice a day..
I never got a strong line.. and only got a line once...
But when I get no line, its a clear negative.
So even a faint line was noticeable to me!

Thanks guys!

When I use to use opk's, I use to get full on positives. I just thought it was strange that it has gotten darker around the time I usually O, but not go full positive. Usually when they get that dark, they are completely positive the next day.

The 3rd and 2nd last test in the pic were done on the same day.

I have just done another one to compare it to the last test done (which was today)

It definately can't be a sign of pg as DP and I haven't been 'in the bedroom' much this past week :(

Oh ye!

I keep getting period like pain?

Would you mind sharing where you got your opks from??

Ummmmm . . . ebay I think! :D
I had some left from my last pregnancy and a few that were given to me by a friend.
I think the majority came from ebay - they're super cheap there and just as accurate and reliable .

I did another test last night, but I didn't post a pic because it was lighter then the others.

Maybe I just missed the surge?

We BD'd anyway, but most of it came out straight away, which lead me to believe that I wasn't really Oing and my cervix was closed and the wrigglers couldn't go anywhere?
