Hi there,
My DS is 7 months old today (growing up so fast)....
Anyway, he is teething as far as I can tell with his very fluro red cheeks coming and going everyday...but he's also started trying to crawl, he is commando and crab type crawling at the moment.
My question is....has anyone gone through a stage where nothing works trying to settle their bubs for a couple of hours at a time during the wee hours of the morning (last night 2-4.15am)?
I tried bringing him in with me, I had his heater on so room was warm, I bounced him on the ball (usually works within minutes), I put on Bonjela, gave him panadol (due to screaming, thinking it was pain), offered him a bottle, patted and shushed, left him to cry for a minute (never usually do this but wanted to see if that was what he needed), held him and rocked him etc....
Anyway, he finally had enough and after 10 minutes of bouncing him to sleep he went back into his cot for a few more hours....
I am not sure if his newfound crawling techniques are to blame, I do find that he's throwing his bottom up in the air and trying to roll around and awful lot....he's in a sleep bag though so it stops him a bit. Also he's popping off a lot too (but that's normal for him lately).
Any ideas as to why, what, when, where or how?
