wedding 'jobs' for my mother!!

Just seeing if others have passed on 'jobs' to do with their wedding and if so what??
My mother (who I love dearly but..) is 'dissappointed' that A. I wont be getting married in my home town, even though I have not lived there for 6 years and it is 1000K away from my home.
B. Am having a Friday wedding.

So in order to make her happy and feel involved what jobs can I give her??

Here is list of job ideas:



help you go dress shopping, pick accesories, hairstyles etc
sending out invitations
organising food
watching the bar tab (if you have one)
organising tokens/place cards for tables
music
pick up flowers on the day
organise a guest book for signing
get her to write a speech to give

really it depends on how involved you want her and jobs you would trust her with. I think anything is fine as even the smallest job will help her feel involved :yes:
