Hervey Bay mums and bubs?? Please

:smiliedance: Hi to everyone. Just wandering if theres any mums out there from Hervey Bay who would like to or know of any play groups around the Urraween area. My partner and 16 month old daughter Madison have just moved up from Sydney a couple of weeks ago. Love to meet new people, left all friends and family behind. my parents live there and we bought a house at Kawungan 18 months ago.

do you mind if I ask why you moved there?? we are also from Sydney.

I don't mind you asking why we moved. My partner and I both knew we didn't want to raise our children in Sydney even though we've lived there most of our lives. He works all over Aust and we were thinking of Townsville at first but one day he came home and suggested Hervey Bay. After doing some research we decided yep Hervey Bay is it. 3 months later we're here. One day hopefully we'll be able to buy our own home ( a dream we both dearly want). Something which would have been impossible in Sydney unless we moved out west. I was from the east and always lived next to the sea and the life style up here suits us down to the ground. The rents are incredible there too! We lived in a 2 bedroom small unit and for the same price a week we now live in a 4 bedroom house with a backyard 3 times the size of the flat. Missy now has the freedom to run like crazy and we can also think about a dog too! oh and more children:laughing: ! I'm sure I could go on:ecomcity: :ecomcity: :ecomcity: .

My family and I are moving to Hervey Bay in 6 weeks and we have a 7 month old daughter. We are moving from Coogee for exactly the same reasons! :smiliedance: I typed in playgroups in Hervey Bay and found this site. I would love to get in contact with you when we arrive. I hope things are working out well for you there. It is a gorgeous spot, my mother lives there so I have spent a bit of time there and we are really looking forward to raising our daughter there.

my family moved to herveybay 6yrs ago,we are also from syd an we moved here for the same reasons,we have gone on an had 2 more children since we have been here, i also typed play groups in an found this site, have u found any play groups yet ?
