My name is Natalie. Im the mother of two monkeys, 8 month old Jamie & 6yr old Aaliyah.
& I live in Sydney.

How do you keep your 6 year old entertained or busy while you are tending to the baby. Do you let her play games online, or on the computer, artsy stuff.... I have a 7 year old and i find it hard sometimes to keep him entertained.

My daughter just entertains herself :smiliedance:
well, sometimes.
I sometimes let Aaliyah get on the computer for a bit, we have quite a few cool websites bookmarked just for her. most are learning sites & games. She knows her way around the computer pretty well. I now have to keep a closer eye on what she is doing on the computer as her school last year taught the kindys how to google :rolleyes: (I can pm you some of the sites she goes to if you want)
Aali just loves to do arts & craft & she is always coming up with things to make out of anything she finds. She's got a big imagination. I do try to stay away from crafts as much as possible, she makes a big mess & doesnt clean it up.
On sunny days I take her to the playground across the road from us, I just pack the blanket, a few toys for bub & snacks & I can stay there for hours. its fun for her & relaxing for me as I dont have to hear her :ecomcity: all the time lol.
We also live in a unit, there are 4 other kids here & a few in the unit next to us all the kids are friends, thank goodness. they all play together downstairs an adult is always present, we take turns.
I guess Aaliyah is an easy child always has been & she finds things to do herself, but the holidays kill me. We dont have a car & there is not many places to take her to around here.

I love your daughters name, Saraya. There was a girl at my highschool where I used to go named Saraya, I loved that name since then.
