I was going to post this in the sample section because recently i asked for free samples from them. but after using the samples i had to recommend these and i will be buying some once my samples run out.

i emailed them sometime last week and tuesday i got an email from kate from lush telling me i could go into the store and ask for free samples. i told her i live a long way from any lush store but could she recommend something. in the email she asked what skin type and hair type i was and what kinda fragrances i liked and would i like her to send me a catalogue. so i told her i had oily skin and oily hair and have been breaking out recently. i wrote back to her and by the next morning at 7.30 i got a postman at my door with a package (you have to sign for all lush packages, like when u order online etc) from lush with lots of little sample pots.

as i opened the package the smell coming from it was fantastic!

she sent me 2 cleansers for my problems skin (fresh farmacy and herbalism), a shampoo (i love juicy) and a conditioner (veganese) and 2 of the most wonderful moisterisers i have ever used (gorgeous and enzymion).

having oily skin i've tried many moisterisers that just make my skin oilier and so i dont use them. the enzymion moisteriser she sent is absolutely fantastic. i put it on in the morning and by the next day when i have my shower again my skin is still not oily.

also the fresh farmacy cleanser is by far the best i've used. i only have to use a pea size bit each time i use it as it goes a long way. i've also noticed my problem skin clearing up already and i've only been using it for 2 days!

my hair after using their shampoo and conditioner is soft and bouncy which it has never been before. it smells beautiful. i love it!

their products seem a little expensive but after looking on the lush forum where other people post their experience with the products, it seems like value for money because the products go a long way and defenitely do the job they say they do and do it without you putting chemicals all over your skin as their products are made from natural ingredients.

and you can get plenty of advice from either the forum or instore sales assitants regarding which products you should use for your skin/hair type and for what kinda fragrances you like. coz i tell you, the smells that come from these products are delicious! if you've ever walked past a store you would know.

they also have a bath ballistic (a bath bomb called ickle baby baff) for young children that is apparently good for helping them get to sleep. she also recommended the dreamtime bath melt for my little man to get to sleep.

they have lots of bath and shower products, i recommend you check out the site and/or email them regarding samples.

kate was sooo nice. in her last email she recommended lots of thing for my skin type and thanked me for my lovely email and that i made her day. :o

also they use all natural ingredients and dont use ingredients tested on animals.

sorry for the long email but i am so pleased with the products a got and the girl i dealt with from lush.

I can smell it from here sw33tn3ss. I love the bath bombs. When you walk in to a shopping centre that has a Lush shop, you can smell it throughout. Yummy, yummy. Enjoy your samples.:)

you'll be converted you watch! lol

i went to the lush store @ campbelltown today finally but didnt have enough money on me and could only buy some fresh farmacy for the oily skin on my face. i still have heaps left in my sample that i got a week ago but i thought while i was there i may as well buy some more as i would cry at the thought of having to use anything else on my skin if i ran out.

if i had more money i would have bought so much.:D

how great is the smell that comes out of the store. i was halfway up the escalator and recognised the smell straight away.

i got a sample of herbalism. while is smells great and i'm sure it clears up the skin the way it is supposed to, but because it has clay or something in it, it leaves a residue on your skin so i use it before my fresh farmacy. but i think you are only supposed to use it every couple of days anyways.

enzymion is the best for my oily skin! i always had oily skin before using that, now the oilyness on my skin is minimal. i love enzymion.

the brilliant thing about lush products is that a little goes a long way. well thats what i have found with the stuff i have been using. u only have to use a pea sized bit of fresh famacy every day and thats it. same with their other cleansers. the 100g block i bought will surely last me months, unlike the other supermarket cleansers i used to use.

have you tried the retread yet? its a very thick conditioner so i dont know if it would be any good for my fine and oily hair.

the nice lady that sent me the samples also sent me a .doc file about oily skin and lush products u can use for oily skin if anyone wants.

I LOVE LUSH!!

I live in Brisbane - you can smell the Lush store on Queen Street right down the mall! Very nice

I use their henna hair dyes - "rouge" and love, love, love it. It's a bit messy (a lot like sticking hot mud in your hair) and walking around with my head wrapped in gladwrap is always a bit of a hoot for the neighbours... but I really like it.

I sent a friend of mine one of the solid shampoo bars. He now swears by it - another convert :)

The day after I received my Lush products in the mail I went to my local shopping centre for some retail therapy. And to my delight I discovered that a Lush shop had opened up only a few days earlier!

And yes - I am converted

I wish i could manage to get near the shop to look at their range the smells that come from their shops are too strong for me so i have to avoid even going near them in a mall or anything otherwise i get a headache n want to be sick *sigh*
Maybe i shall have to send a friend on a mission for me

ok I am really disappointed.....................

I went to the LUSH store at Campbelltown, I wanted to try out their toothpastes but was shocked to discover the toothpaste I saw on their website(which looked like an average sized tube)
was in actual fact a tiny miniscule tube of paste, it was like a thimbul full I swear and they wanted $9 for it........................no way sorry my budget doesnt stretch that far LOL I couldnt believe how small it was:eek:

Maybe when I become a multimillionaire I will be able to justify spending $9 on thimbul sized portion of toothpaste LOL:laughing:

LUSH......sorry too pricey!
